Ampex Data Systems, a Delta Information Systems Company, has announced their receipt of a contract from Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division for $4.124M. Ampex will supply their TuffServ 282 (TS282) NFS Mission Servers and supporting storage media that are used for the U.S. Navy’s E-2D Aircraft. The procured systems will support E-2D training devices and options for the E-2D fleet .
“This contract is a on-going key part of the Ampex Data Systems strategy for a family of airborne mission data recorders,” stated Jim Orahood, General Manager.
